Easy Mushroom Gravy

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

  1. Mushroom - 1packet
  2. Onion - 2 medium size
  3. Tomato - 1 big
  4. Chilli powder - 2 tsp
  5. Salt - as required
  6. Oil - 2 tsp
  7. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  8. Coriander leaves - finely chopped - 1/2 handful 

Steps:
  1. Cut mushrooms into slices(medium size not very thin)
  2. Chop the onions and tomatoes into small pieces
  3. In a pan pour the oil. When it s hot add the mustard seeds and let the seeds splutter
  4. Now add the chopped onions and saute till they become transparent.
  5. Now add the tomatoes and a pinch of salt and keep sauting.
  6. Once the tomatoes are cooked, add chilli powder, salt and mushrooms. Do not add any water as the water content from mushrooms will be enough to get the right consistency for the gravy.
  7. Keep cooking for another 5 mins till the raw smell goes off. Now add the coriander leaves and turn off in a couple of minutes. Tasty mushroom gravy is ready.
This is a very simple recipe and goes well with rotis/dosa/idli. I made this simple curry and my husband loved it. Try this at home and let me know how many compliments you got :)
