Mission accomplished!!!

If some one asked me the question "Have u ever been to the kitchen ?" my answer would ve been "NO" til last week. But thn came the day which made me cook for ma aunt and uncle(poor species on earth. I tested my cooking skills on them). Here goes the actual incident of me trying out ma hand at cooking. My mom and dad go out to a wedding party. Me and ma sis sit at home putting lacha. Someone knocks at the door. I go open the door and find ma aunt and uncle. I call ma mom asking her to come soon and get something done for them. But she gets caught with her friends in the wedding hall and asks us(me and ma sister) to manage it. Poor gals! faced with a tough challenge now. My aunt offers to help us. But we were egoistic enuf to turn it down and try it ourselves. My aunt goes out to get things for pooja the next day. V both search for vegetables and could find jus tomato and onion. I start cutting the vegetables. My sis starts making the dough for roti. I light the stove and put some oil and fry the onion and tomoto together.(I ve seen dis being done in some programmes in TV) Then some salt and chilli powder. Now i turn arnd and look for something more to be added. But other items in the kitchen seem to be unfamiliar. I thought i can stop here and serve them though i was not sure if i was done. But then my sis was done with roti. So do i(my assumption though and i was so hungry ready to risk my prep). I serve the roti and my "tomato bla" (donno how to name the dish, so i named it disway...and seems to suit it too) to ma aunt and uncle.

I dint let out t fact to ma uncle and aunt tat it was ma first try. I was waiting for them to run to the washbasin and puke thr.. but my uncle seems to enjoy the dinner. And now he turns to ma aunt to speak out something. I was quite sure of wat he was abt to tel her. Uncle : " This tomato curry(oh! here s a better name. The credit goes to ma uncle for giving such a decent name to it) tastes awesome. Learn how to cook frm Malini" ..aahh wat an unexpected compliment. I was waiting for criticisims for ruining the dinner but was praised by ma uncle. Atlast ma mission turns out to be a grand success and now i confess the fact to ma uncle tat it was my first try and i pretended to be honest :P

Got Screwed at t last moment

I could recollect those days when we were busy studying for the tutorial tests every day. our Our inter hostel comptetion - "Zephyr" was round t corner...All gals from my hostel were busy with it..but the opp was happening with infosys...we ppl were hitting our heads hard against t text books..Some of ma close frnds(other discipline) were really angry with me since they found me not participating in any of the events..I too felt guilty about this..but still i was helpless... Then came t chance for me to participate in the competition.
It was the final day of the competition and still i had not contributed anything...The final event was a presentation from each hostel tat would bring out the uniqueness of the hostel. The presentation had to done using flash. There came the chance for me...i pushed aside all ma books(they were really heavy)..Me and my frnds(all from infosys who were passive like me til then) decided to pitch in with great enthusiasm and make our hostel's presentation t best of all..Me and Sowmya had started working on the presentation while two others were out to take some pics to be added in the presentation. We started around 12 noon. It was supposed to be ready by 7 pm. Thank god..we had sufficient time...
We were busy working out the plot..oops!! we were busy to t extent tat we evenforgot to have our lunch..Everything was goin on well...It was ard 7 pm..we finally added one another pic to the presentation...TRAPPED!!! a virus too was imported along wit the pic and the whole presentation got corrupted..[:(] ..
We tried to fix it by calling another expert team[:P]...Nothing worked out...there was hardly any time left for our presentation and we had nothing with us to present..So all the teams put our hands at the presentation and it was ready within 15 min..Guess wat??? The Presentation was done using MICROSOFT POWERPOINT!!! Thank goodness there no time left for the presentation and was not presented in the audi..

AN ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY TO HP

It was a bright monday morning...I was in a great mood to work tat week.. Me n ma frnd Nandhini were there waiting at t bus stop for our bus.It was t first time tat i had planned to board t HP bus. V were at t stop by 7.15. Our HP buses have just a paper stuck on t bus and it was difficult for us to identify t bus thru tat. Thr was a "Singh" waiting thr for t same bus. V could make out tat frm his HP tag. As usual v had a gr8 chat at t bus stop discussin abt our week end spent. Only then v turned to realise tat t "singh" whom v tried to keep track of was not thr at t stop. So v thot f boardin some other HP bus tat passed thru our route. Poor gals v never knew tat all HP buses wont stop thr.

Thn v found our saviour. Ther came a bus with a A4 sheet stuck on it "HP STSD". V boarded it thinkin tat it was some other HP campus in Electronic city n tat v cud walk frm thr to HP GDIC. After v entered t bus v realised tat it was an AC Volvo bus. V were damn sure tat none of our GDIC buses were as sophisticated as tat. But still v wanted to try our luck. After 5 min v realised tat t bus was goin in a route tat wud never lead to Electronic City.Tat much v cud make out..V cud ve very well got down t bus. But thn, since v were new to bangalore n tat v hardly knew places v thot lets go round t city..v were in a way scared since v dint know whr t bus ll finally stop. Still v sat back n relaxed enjoying t sight seeing v had. After about some 45 min t bus finally came to a halt. Finally v were happy to see tat v had reached HP. But t sad thing was tat it was not t HP campus whr v were supposed to go. Yea! v were at HP STSD which is in KR Puram..some 33 kms frm Electronic City :( V thn asked t security abt a stop nearby. V got into an auto n reached t stop near KR Puram railway station. V were lucky enuf to get a bus imm..V reached Silk Board in 30 min. V walked to a stop n waited for some BMTC bus. But to our surprise none f t buses stopped thr. But v found many ppl waiting thr... After waiting for abt 15 to 20 min v came to know tat it was not a bus stop..it was a stop whr ppl boarded company buses.. So started walking again to reach t nearest stop which was too far. V thn got in another bus(this time it was t correct bus)...

Finally our adventurous journey to HP ended as v got down at our stop. V both looked at our watches. It was 11 am...omg it hardly takes 20 min to reach electronic city frm koramangala. But v gals had gone ard t entire city n had taken 4 hrs totally to reach our place...

Hi Frnds!
I realised only recently tat its hi time tat i too start blogging...Earlier i used to wonder how ppl used to find time during working hours to write blogs..now i could make out tat there s no other time as ideal as office hrs..Let me tell u all frankly tat i m lazy to t core..tats y i dint own one til now..now tat i ve improved a bit(i think so), i thought i could prove it by scribbling some stuff in my blog ..I ll b soon coming up wit some of the incidents in ma life...but as i told u i m lazy n i feel lik ending t first one here[:P]..Do bare with t boring stuff tat i may post here n do giv me ur valuable comments...
